Hi, I’m Clarissa.
I’m a mom navigating accessible travel, everyday magic, and meaningful experiences with my family, and I share what we learn along the way through Beckoning Adventure.
Our family loves travel, theme parks, seasonal events, and immersive experiences, but we approach them intentionally. With a child on the autism spectrum and a deep appreciation for preparation, pacing, and flexibility, I’ve learned that memorable trips do not happen by accident. They happen when families feel informed, supported, and confident before they ever leave home.

“I share our experiences through a lens of thoughtfulness and accessibility, knowing that families carry different needs, budgets, and energy levels, even when their destinations look the same.”
Beckoning Adventure exists to help families escape the ordinary without feeling overwhelmed. Here, you’ll find experience-based resources that go beyond quick tips or highlight reels. I share what worked, what didn’t, what surprised us, and what I wish I had known ahead of time. Accessibility, sensory considerations, and real-life logistics are always part of the conversation, woven naturally into storytelling rather than treated as an afterthought.
I’m a Certified Autism Travel Professional, a lifelong theme park enthusiast, and someone who believes that preparation creates freedom. Whether we are visiting Disneyland, attending a festival, exploring a museum, or taking a simple day trip, my goal is always the same. Help families feel empowered to say yes to experiences that feel right for them.
Beckoning Adventure is not about doing everything. It’s about choosing moments intentionally, planning in a way that reduces stress, and creating memories that feel joyful and attainable.
If you’re looking for warm, honest guidance from a mom who is learning alongside her kids, you’re in the right place.
Welcome. Let’s beckon adventure together.
